Beware

There may not be a Stoke Newington post office here anymore, but I've walked past this corner many times without noticing the old post-office sign because the neighbouring shopfront (which seems to sell car parts of every kind) is so distracting.

I thought this next drawing was pretty funny, although it appears to be meant as some kind of warning, with BEWARE scrawled above the Grinch-like face:

Perhaps it's the cartoon equivalent of those "I live here" signs in house windows, complete with photos of large, scary-looking dogs, that are meant to act as burglar deterrents--I was almost tempted to ring the bell just to see if a green monster answered!
