We Weren't the Only Ones Out Walking Tonight

When we went for after-dinner walks in Vancouver, we would usually see dogs, squirrels, ducks, geese, herons, and maybe the occasional skunk or raccoon--quite the variety, thanks to our close proximity to Stanley Park. On after-dinner walks in London, we might see a dog or two being walked, but that's about it . . . usually. Tonight I stopped in front of this entranceway and motioned for Bob to stop too.
The fox must have set off the motion-sensitive lights when he wandered into the stairwell, and the lights went off almost immediately after we walked up to the door. We waved our arms to turn the lights back on, and the fox turned around for a second before disappearing into the night.
