Santa Comes to Hyde Park

Bob and I walked through Hyde Park in the dark, which was much less ominous than it sounds, considering we were walking toward this:
Although Winter Wonderland turned out to be all kitsch (for example, there was an odd "haunted house" with a Christmas theme, like a leftover Halloween attraction gone wrong) with very little class, it still made for a nice enough walk to the tube as we passed the ferris wheel, Christmas market,
carousel,
and other rides. (Santa was also posing for photos, but we passed on that.) Bob said that I should go on this ride, but somehow I thought I'd be just the tiniest bit conspicuous:
The last thing we did was watch the skaters in their strange orange skates (with velcro instead of laces) circle the ice rink, which seemed small to us, but is supposedly the largest outdoor rink in London!
