Good Old Clissold Park

We were both pretty tired today, so we decided to limit today's wanderings to some errands up on Church Street and a visit to Clissold Park. Although we had both noticed this plaque on Church Street many times from the bus, somehow neither of us stopped to read it until today:

Since the summery weather was holding on, the park was predictably full of people enjoying the late-afternoon warmth. From the bench where we sat, we watched soccer practice in the distance

and dogs close-up,

and read a bit

before heading home for dinner--a bit of an uneventful day, but certainly a relaxing one!
