Hot Drinks Versus the World

London seems to be snoozing a bit after all the holiday madness, and the short days and continuing rain aren't helping anyone's motivation to venture out into the cold. Today we let the couch win, and while Bob had a hot mug of Ribena in front of the telly, I savoured a Korean hot drink that we brought back from Suji:
My quince drink is made in the same way as Ribena, with a small amount of concentrated syrup diluted in a mug of boiling water--the resulting beverage is lovely and tart, with just the right amount of sweet finish. Take that, London grey!
