Our Vancouver Visit: Help! I'm Being Held Prisoner in My In-Laws' Kitchen

Dianne joked this evening that she locked me in the kitchen today and stole my shoes so that I couldn't leave the house--the truth is that I spent the majority of the day putting together a favourite meal of mine (out of my own free will): lasagna and salad,

along with strawberry-rhubarb-apple crisp for dessert. We have yet to buy proper baking pans in London and Dianne and Bruce's kitchen is MUCH bigger than ours, so I enjoyed taking over their kitchen for the day. A nice bonus is that there's enough leftover for tomorrow's dinner too!
