Our Vancouver Visit: Look North for Mountains

Today we braved the phenomenon that is Costco--bigger packages that you ever knew you needed, all at low, low prices! It wasn't too busy today and we wandered the aisles trying to decide if we really needed that 1000-count package of Q-Tips. (The answer, by the way, was "yes," since I have yet to find a "cotton bud" in London that I actually like.)
Bob and I bought some great coffee beans shortly after we arrived, so we haven't been having much coffee out, but today we decided to pop into one of our favourite places for coffee and a game of Scrabble. The equivalent of £1.56 ( a glorious price that we'll miss when we return to London) gets you a pretty perfect (really) large latté at Our Town, made from the same Songbird organic espresso blend we bought to make coffee at home.
After we finished drinking and Scrabbling, we picked up some fruit and veggies and headed back home. On our drive around town, a view that we were used to seeing when we lived here suddenly struck me as being worth a photo:
