London Brick

I spotted these tomatoes on a windowsill near our place
and thought it was awfully trusting of someone to leave the blushing temptations in such easy reach of passers-by! Just a little further along, something about the side of this house made me smile: I'm not really sure what people mean when they say "London brick," which they often do (usually within the context of a flat or house: "it's got lots of great, old London brick"), but this is what I think and hope they mean--mostly yellow brick, with a pleasing mish-mash of colours, textures, and sizes that basically thumbs its nose at the pursuit of perfection, uniformity, and predictability.
