Our village weekend continued today with some neighbourhood errands and a nice walk through Abney Park Cemetery on our way to pick up some groceries. This building, near the eastern entrance to the cemetery, features some lettering that I find strangely endearing:

Something about the ramshackle peeling paint coupled with the narrowing of letters as the painter must have realised that room was running out always makes me smile.
